I am a qualified nutritionist with a diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM). I am also a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). As a CNHC member, I meet the National Occupational Standards in education and I am obliged to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics. I am fully insured by Balens Specialist Insurance Brokers.
After graduating from Westminster University, I went on to spend 5 years in the corporate world, where I saw how difficult it was for busy people to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. Having always had a passion for health and fitness, this encouraged me to start studying nutrition part time. Then after becoming pregnant (when of course my personal health was of paramount importance) I left work and fully immersed myself into the world of nutrition, studying full time as well as taking a job at the college (CNM) as Director of Studies. Since graduating I regularly attend seminars and conferences to maintain my clinical knowledge and further develop my skills.
From my personal experience as a new mother, I fully understand the challenges of juggling work and family whilst trying to provide them with healthy and nutritious food. In addition to my one-to-one consultations, I will be running specialised groups in pre and post natal nutrition for expectant and new mothers in W9 and NW8 – babies are welcome. The post natal groups will focus on weight loss for new mothers to help them feel good and get back into shape. Please either call 07961347437 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
